Worship Every Sunday 10:00 AM
We are first and foremost a Christian church, affirming the historic and orthodox faith. Secondarily we are baptistic (practice believer's baptism) and we are elder lead (a group of equal elders/ pastors rather than other forms of church leadership). We are protestant but not affiliated with any particular denomination.
Broadly speaking, we teach from a Baptistic, and evangelical perspective. View our "Beliefs" page for a full explanation.
We gather for worship every Sunday at 10:00am at 22963 Potter Trail, Kirksville, MO 63501.
There is a parking lot next to the building with a carport for wheelchair accessibility.
From blue-jeans and a t-shirt to khakis and button-down with a tie, you'll find a mixture of dress -- what matters most is our posture before God. In our Sunday gatherings, we sing songs, pray, read scripture, hear the Scriptures preached.
We welcome children in our worship service and encourage parents to explain the elements of the service to their children.
There is a nursing room available for mothers with babies and play rooms for younger children.
We primarily utilize the English Standard Version (ESV) for teaching & preaching, although you may hear others occasionally referred to as well.
We gather for worship every Sunday at 10:00am. We have an informal meal typically consisting of an informal potluck at noon following the meeting.
During the week at various times, we have adult Bible studies, Children's Bible studies, and prayer meetings.
We follow a bi-weekly schedule for our midweek gatherings:
One Wednesday features an adult Bible study and a Children's Bible study.
The next Wednesday is dedicated to our prayer meeting.
